Abstract

SIMPLE METHOD OF SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETEMINATION OF CAPECITABINE

ABSTRACT

A simple spectrophotometric method is described for the determination of Capecitabine. It exhibits maximum absorbance at 295 nm. The calibration curve found to be linear over 5 to 25μg/ml.. It has molar absorption coefficient of 1.425 L mol-1 cm-1. The method can be successfully employed for faster determination of the capecitabine drug.
