ABSTRACT
Dyes are dreadfully perilous pollutant ejected in the environmental in the effluents of textile industries. Dyeing and rinsing practices causing harmful effects on the employees. It is therefore essential to eradicate the dyes by using different practices. In the current paper adsorption procedure was engaged for deduction of Congo red dye. Congo red dye is a carcinogenic dye, which arrives in the runoff of textile industries during dyeing and rinsing procedures. In the present job, the effect of variables such as adsorbent quantity and contact time on adsorption of dye was deliberated. The amount of Ficus Hispida Leaf powder (FHLP) was assorted from 0.1 g/L to 2.0 g/L, and contact time was speckled from 15 minute to 150 minute. Maintaining all aspects constant, with the vary of dose of Ficus Hispida Leaf powder (FHLP),
it was found that adsorption increases from 0.1 g/L to 1.2 g/L and then it turn into constant; with the alter of contact time, the adsorption amplifies from 15 minute to 120 minute and then happen to constant.
