PHYSICOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND DRUG STANDARDIZATION OF MUSTHAMRUTHADI KASHAYA

ABSTRACT

Purpose: Musthamruthadi Kashaya is a formulation mentioned in Ayurveda mentioned for Asrigdara Chikitsa under Kashaya Prakarana of Sahasra Yoga. This work was carried out to standardize the finished product of Musthamruthadi Kashaya. Methodology: Musthamruthadi Kashaya was prepared according to standard procedure of Kashaya Kalpana and analyzed for the following parameters like physico-chemical analysis and High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC). Result: On the basis of observations and experimental results, this study may be used as reference standard in the further quality control researches. Conclusion: The analytical data generated here may be considered for the development of standard parameters for the formulation.
