ABSTRACT

Ear of human helps in hearing and equilibrium. External ear-collects sound wave and channels them inward. Middle ear- coveys sound vibrations to the oval window. Internal ear- which houses the receptors for hearing and equilibrium. Receptor of hearing, the organ of corti located on basilar membrane extending from the apex to the base of cochlea.
