A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON PURVAROOPA AVASTHA OF PRAMEHA

ABSTRACT

Purvaroopa avastha of Prameha w.s.r to Pre-Diabetes is a condition in which the patients have high blood glucose level but not in the Diabetic range. These people are at high risk of getting Diabetes. Identification of the Pre-Diabetic stage by screening method at earliest will reduce the conversion rate to Diabetes Mellitus by taking preventive majors. So, the need of hour is to be more focus on screening and diagnostic approaches of Pre-Diabetes by spreading knowledge and awareness among society which will play a key role to reduce the conversion of Pre-Diabetes to Diabetes Mellitus.
