Abstract

A COMPARATIVE PHARMACECUTICAL AND ANALYTICAL STUDY OF DHANYABHRAKA

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Abhraka is one among the Maharasa and due to its high therapeutic utility, it is widely used in Rasashastra and Ayurveda. Materials and Method: Shodhitha Krishnavajrabhraka along with Paddy, Pottali is prepared as per the references of Rasaratna Samuchchaya and Rasendrasara Sangraha and subjected to Dhanyabhraka Preparation. Subjected Analysis. Observation and Result: Particle size of Dhanyabhraka prepared as per RRS is lesser than that of RSS. Conclusion: For the preparation of Dhanyabhraka the combination of the references of RasaratnaSamucchaya and RasendrasaraSangraha are more appropriate.
