PROTECTIVE EFFECTS OF VITAMIN C AND VITAMIN E ON MALATHION INDUCED TESTICULAR OXIDATIVE STRESS ON GOAT
Sharma R. K. and Gulati Alka*
ABSTRACT The present study was designed to evaluate the oxidative stress of malathion in testicular tissue of goat. In the study we revealed that after exposure of malathion on testicular tissue of goat in vitro could lead to oxidative stress. Induced oxidative stress status came be assessed due to increase malondialdyde ( MDA) content, as well as increased antioxidant enzyme activity of FRAP. On the other hand after supplementation of vitamin C and vitamin E the oxidative stress of testicular tissue combated or slightly recovered. Antioxidants and antioxidative enzyme play an important role in offering protection against oxidative damage. Keywords: Pesticides, FRAP, Lipid Peroxidation, Vitamin C, Vitamin E.
