Abstract

ASSESSMENT OF GROUND WATER QUALITY IN DIFFERENT VILLAGES OF TQ. TULJAPUR, DIST. OSMANABAD (M.S).

ABSTRACT

The present work has been carried out to create knowledge about quality and potability of the water in the village people. The parameters like pH, TDS, TH, Turbidity, Iron ,fluoride, chloride, Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sulphate and Nitrate, Calcium etc. were determined. The results compare with the ISI and WHO. The data revealed that the ground water of some villages is fit for drinking and of some villages can be used but needs some primary treatment.
