Monika Sharma*

ABSTRACT

Objective of this review paper was to summarize all the Antibacterial and antimicrobial activities of nanoparticles. Silver, gold and zinc nanoparticles have found miscellaneous applications. Hence in this review paper all the antibacterial and antimicrobial properties have been covered. Nanoparticle-based materials are having good antibacterial and antimicrobial properties against Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi. Thus these nanoparticles are pathogen resistant which protects the humans from severe bacterial diseases.

Keywords: Antibacterial, antimicrobial, silver, gold and zinc nanoparticles, Escherichia coli.
