SATISFECTION OF WOMEN REGARDING AVAILABILITY OF MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH SERVICES IN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE, AMBALA HARYANA, INDIA

ABSTRACT
To measure the satisfaction of women regarding the availability maternal and child health in community health centre of Ambala Haryana. Study Design and setting: This study follows three point likert scale containing set of 58 items related to services provides by the community health set up in rural area. Multigravida 100 women who were utilizing the services from the community health center was taken as sample. Directive interview technique is used for the data collection from the sample. Data analysis consisted of inferential statistics analysis. Result: Three pointrating scale involve of five
categories related to maternal and child health services. Preparation of rating scale contain 58 statement belong to general health services, antenatal, postnatal, immunization services. The reliability coefficient for rating scale was calculated by using Charon bach alpha method and was found to be 0.72. Women who received the services from the community health center having the 100% satsection in the field of the general health services, antenatal and immunization services. In case of postnatal services 95% of women have good satisfaction while 5% coming under partial satisfaction. Conclusion: By enhancing the good quality of services regarding the maternal and child health care in rural area will help us to achieve the target of reducing low maternity and child mortality ratein India and this will lead to achieve the target of “Health for all.”.
