It is not a life threatening but most painful condition which hampers the daily activities of the person. Study Selection: 30 patients diagnosed with parikartika of either sex were selected. Intervention: Group – A (n=15) Manjishtadi ghrita pichu, Group B (n=15) Shatdauta ghrita pichu was taken in a sterile gauze piece size of 3 cm×3 cm size to be kept at anus, followed by 15 minutes sitz bath with bearable hot water, twice in a day, for 14 days. Pichu was removed after 3 hours. Outcome Measures: The data was graded based on the assessment criteria and was analysed statistically. Results: The outcome of treatment after 21 days was statistically significant in the subjective symptoms like pain, burning, bleeding, itching in anal region and constipation and the objective signs like size of fissure.
