Abstract

EXTRACTION AND PRODUCTION OF BIODIESEL FROM CHLORELLA SPP

ABSTRACT

Fossil fuels are widely consumed due to the rapid urbanization and industrialization. The continous use of the fossil fuels has resulted in the emission of the CO2 and other green house gasses resulting in the increase in the earths temperature and global warming. The fossil fuels are depleting faster as they are continuously used. To overcome the problems of the emission of green house gases and depletion of the fossil fuels micro algae can be used for the production of the biofuel. Microalgae has higher growth rates and oil productivity compared the conventional crops.
