Abstract

STUDY ON THE BINDING OF AMANTADINE TO EGG ALBUMIN IN SPAN 40

ABSTRACT

Binding of amantadine to Egg albumin (EA) was investigated at room temperature using spectroscopic techniques. The spectroscopic studies (Fourier transform intrared (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopic (SEM) were useful to assess the relevant interaction of amantadine with Egg albumin in SPAN 40. The conformational change of EA was observed, being caused by the interaction with amantadine.
