ABSTRACT

Catharanthus roseus a popular ornamental plant found in gardens and homes across the world. The plant of Catharanthus roseus has a very great medicinal value. The plant have shown a more potent antidiabetic activity, anticancer activity, antioxidant activity and cytotoxic activity. The present review is an attempt to provide a detailed botanical description, classification, phytochemical study and pharmacological properties of the plant.
