A TAXONOMICAL NOTE ON PRIVA CORDIFOLIA (L.F) DRUCE AN INDIAN ETHNO-MEDICINAL PLANT

ABSTRACT

In the present paper, we have given an elaborate description about taxonomical evidence on Priva cordifolia for the first time. According to literature substantiation, it is an ethno-medicinal plant belongs to family-Verbenaceae, genus-Priva and belongs to major group of angiosperms and species-Priva cordifolia. Description on different plant parts and medicinal approaches deduced compared to literature evidences.
