Materials and Methods: Subjects consisted of 24 school students, 14 boys, 10 girls, in the age range 11–16 years, who were attending a 7-day yoga training course during summer vacation. They were tested on the DLST and SLCT, before the starting the programme and after 7 days practice of yoga. Results: There were significant increase in the score of SLCT (p<0.001) and DLST (p<0.001) found and also these techniques reduces wrong cancellation errors. Conclusions: Yoga leads to improvement in performance on the DLST and SLCT. So there will be increase in attention, visual search and mental speed.
