SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ORGANO SULPHUR HETEROCYCLIC DERIVATIVES AND THEIR ANTI-FUNGAL ACTIVITY

ABSTRACT

A new series of Sulphur Heterocyclic derivatives were synthesized from amides,gaamaketo amides, 1,4 di ketones, bisHydrazides toproduceThio Amides,Thiazole, Thiophene, 1,3,4 Thia diazole Heterocyclic Derivatives. Allthenewcompoundshavebeen characterized by spectral data and subsequently evaluated for their anti-bacterial and anti fungal activity by using Disc Diffusion Method.
