ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF QUERCETIN AND RUTIN FROM LEAVES OF PHYLLANTHUS EMBLICA

ABSTRACT

Two important flavanoids, Quercetin and Rutin have been isolated from the leaves of Phyllanthus emblica by chemical method and column chromatography. Both the isolated compounds have been identified on the basis of HPLC chromatograph, IR and NMR scpectra.
