Abstract

EFFECT OF NITROGIN AND PHOSPHORUS FERTILIZERS ON GROWTH PAMAMETERS WITH DETERMINATION THE TOTAL PHENOLIC CONTENT OF NETTLE (URTICA DIOCIU L.)PLANT

*Dr. Ibrahim S. Abaas

ABSTRACT

Obiective: This study was designed to evaluation the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers on growth parameters and determination the phenolic content of nettle leaves. Methods : The field experiment was included six treatments without fertiliziers (No,Po) as Control, (N0 ,P120), (N30,P0) ,(N30 ,P120), (N90,P0) and (N90,P120).At the end of experiment the samples were randomly collected from middle rows of each plot. Results :The Result were referred to both nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers have Significant effect on all growth parameters at (N90, P120) Kg ha-1 levels .Al so the results were referred to highest values of total phenolic content were obtained at (N30,P120 ) and (N90, P120) treatments. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study was revealed the presence of total phenolic content as important constituents of nettle plant .From this study the results and discussion were referred to importance of Nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer on growth parameters with active compounds of Nettle plants.
