ROLE OF PILOHERB TABLETS AND OINTMENT IN THE TREATMENT OF HAEMORRHOIDS

ABSTRACT

Haemorrhoids are the symptomatic enlargement of anal cushions. Many researchers have reported that almost 75% of the adults will have haemorroids at some point of their life. Therefore there is a need to develop a safe and effective medicine for haemorroids. In the present study Piloherb Tablets and Ointment were administered to 30 patients suffering from haemorrhoids. The study duration was for 8 weeks and at the end of the study 94% patients responded well to treatment and about 90% patients had complete relief from bleeding, pain, itching and inflammation. No adverse effect was reported during and after the treatment.
