Abstract

HIGH PERFORMANCE ION CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF CYANIDE IN LAMOTRIGINE

ABSTRACT

A precise and accurate high performance Ion chromatographic method has been developed on the principle of Ion exchange for estimation of cyanide in Lamotrigine at a low Limit of about 5ppm. The method has good specificity by virtue of use of Amperometric detection. No interference is observed at the retention time of cyanide. The proposed method is precise and selective for estimation of cyanide in Lamotrigine.
