Abstract

INVESTIGATION IN KINETIC-THERMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS OF FREE CELLULASE PRODUCED BY LOCAL FUNGI TRICHODERMA VIRIDE

ABSTRACT

Various Kinetic-thermodynamic parameters of cellulase from local fungi Trichoderma viride had been studied. Using carboxymethyl cellulose as substrate, the enzyme showed maximum activity (Vmax)75g/lmin-1mg-1with its corresponding Km value of 2.5x10-5g/l.The constants of thermal inactivation/h-1 were1.04,2.89, 4.05, 5.24 at 40, 50,60,70 C° respctivly. Increasing the temperature to 10 C° leads to a sharp increase Eact, ΔH and ΔS.
