ABSTRACT In ayurveda acharya has commented that Vaidya need not to be ashamed when he is unable to name the disease infact it is not necessary to know the exact nomenclature as that it is not always possible. But it does not mean that one can not diagnosed such a condition. Anukta means unstated/unsaid/hidden. Anukta Vyadhi means the disease which is not explained in the Ayurvedic text.
