ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to assess the association between pharmacy students' academic performance and their use of study resources. 277 pharmacy students from D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D schools participated in a cross-sectional observational study utilizing a self-structured validated questionnaire. We gathered and examined information about the use of textbooks, lecture notes, journals, internet resources, AI tools, YouTube, and self-study practices. The results showed that while Google Search and AI tools were popular online resources, textbooks and lecture notes were the most favored offline resources. Despite the growing uptake of digital tools, the majority of students favored offline study. The study emphasizes how technology is increasingly being included into pharmacy school and proposes that making good use of a variety of study tools could improve learning outcomes and academic achievement.
