PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF POLYHERBAL HAIR OIL

ABSTRACT

Polyherbal hair oil is a type of hair care formulation that contains a combination of herbal extracts.[1,2] The use of polyherbal hair oil has gained popularity due to its perceived effectiveness in promoting hair growth and treating various scalp and hair condition.[2,3] Formulation of polyherbal hair oil involves selecting and combining herbs based on their therapeutic properties and compatibility with the oil base.[1,4] The evaluation of polyherbal hair oil includes testing its physical and chemical properties to ensure quality, stability, and safety.[1,2,5] Several studies have been conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of polyherbal hair oil in managing conditions such as dandruff, hair fall, and scalp infections.[2,4,6] These studies have shown promising results, suggesting it as an effective alternative to conventional hair care products.[4,6] In conclusion, the formulation and evaluation of polyherbal hair oil involve the careful selection and combination of herbs based on their therapeutic properties, along with testing of physical and chemical characteristics. Further research is required to establish the efficacy and safety of polyherbal hair oil for treating various hair and scalp conditions.
