ABSTRACT This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a nanosuspension containing Tinospora cordifolia stem extract and green-synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for enhanced antimicrobial activity. Tinospora cordifolia is a well-known medicinal plant rich in bioactive compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, terpenoids, and glycosides, which possess significant therapeutic properties. The stem extract was prepared using an aqueous extraction method and utilized for the eco-friendly synthesis of silver nanoparticles, where plant phytochemicals acted as reducing and stabilizing agents. The synthesized AgNPs were incorporated into a nanosuspension using suitable stabilizers and surfactants to improve solubility, dissolution rate, bioavailability, and stability. The formulation was characterized by evaluating particle size, zeta potential, morphology, and stability. The combination of green synthesized AgNPs and nano suspension technology offers improved antimicrobial effectiveness, enhanced drug delivery, and reduced toxicity. This approach provides a sustainable, cost-effective, and biocompatible platform for developing advanced pharmaceutical formulations with potential biomedical applications.
