ABSTRACT In mammals, the hair follicle is a significant organ that influences physical appearance, helps in gender differentiation, provides insulation against extreme temperatures, and contributes to protective functions. In recent times, younger individuals are increasingly facing severe hair loss problems due to lifestyle factors such as stress, fatigue, unhealthy dietary habits, and frequent use of chemical-based hair styling, coloring, and dyeing products. In many cases, hair loss is not temporary and may progress to conditions like alopecia. Due to psychological stress and concern about appearance, individuals seek various treatment approaches ranging from traditional remedies to modern medications such as minoxidil. Effective hair growth promotion and prevention of hair loss require activation and nourishment of hair roots. This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of polyherbal formulations in managing common hair-related problems, including dandruff, dryness, premature greying, baldness, and excessive hair fall. Keywords: Herbal hair serum, Onion peel extract, Garlic peel extract, Pomegranate peel extract, Agro-waste utilization, Natural hair care, Hair growth promotion, Antioxidant activity, Antimicrobial activity, Phytochemical constituents.
