ABSTRACT Bisoprolol fumarate is a drug mainly used for the long-term treatment of high blood pressure. It works by reducing the heart rate and lowering the workload on the heart, which helps in controlling blood pressure with fewer breathing-related side effects. This review focuses on different analytical methods such as UV-Visible Spectroscopy, HPLC, and HPTLC used for estimation of Bisoprolol fumarate in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms. It also highlights the importance of method validation as per ICH guidelines to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the drug. Keywords: Bisoprolol fumarate, Hypertension, RP HPLC, UV Spectroscopy, Method validation, Stability indicator. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
