AZO-FUNCTIONALIZED METAL-ORGANIC POLYHEDRA FOR THE REMOVAL OF PFOA FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS
Xiao-Yun Su?, Qian-Ying Gan?
ABSTRACT Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) has been extensively studied in recent years due to its widespread distribution in aquatic environments, persistent chemical structure, and potential threats to human health. We synthesized MOP-5, a metal-organic polyhedron functionalized with an azo group. The structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD), mass spectrometry (MS), and infrared spectroscopy (IR). The adsorption process of PFOA by the MOP-5 was monitored via ¹⁹F-NMR spectroscopy. The results indicate that MOP-5 exhibit excellent PFOA adsorption performance, with maximum adsorption capacities of 811 mg/g. Keywords: . [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
