FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF METEKA HYDRATING FACE GEL

ABSTRACT

Face gels are light weight, and hydrating product designed forskin care. Meteka Hydrating face gel is a skincare productdesigned to provide deep hydration and nourishment to theskin. In present scenario herbal cosmetics have more demandsince they have no side effects. In our present study, weattempted four different formulation in gel in differentconcentrations of form by using Water Hyacinth Extract. Gelformulated by using aloe vera, Carbapol 940, Citric acid,glycerine. The formulations was randomly selected andevaluated with various parameters such as physical appearance,viscosity, pH, spreadability, washability, stability studies. Theformulated batch F2 was found excellent effects and selected asthe ideal formulation. Also the formulation F2 is havingcharacteristic odour, acceptable color, smooth to touch andspreads efficiently. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasyresidue, offering a refreshing and lightweight feel and is alsoideal for all skin types. Regular use of Meteka Hydrating facegel helps to maintain a smooth, hydrated complexion whilepromoting a healthy, radiant appearance.
