BRIDGING HUMAN, ANIMAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW OF THE ONE HEALTH PARADIGM – AN AI OVERVIEW

ABSTRACT The One Health concept represents a transformative framework that integrates human, animal, and environmental health to address complex global health challenges. This comprehensive review explores the evolution, core components, and real-world applications of the One Health approach. Emphasis is placed on zoonotic disease prevention, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, food safety, environmental contamination, and integrated policy frameworks. The review also highlights technological innovations, workforce development, and implementation challenges. Drawing on global case studies and institutional experiences, the article underscores the necessity of collaborative, interdisciplinary action for sustainable health outcomes. The One Health paradigm emerges not only as a theoretical ideal but as a practical strategy essential for achieving global health security in the 21st century.
