Saurabh Hatzade*, Vijay Chaudhari, Vishal Ramteke, Achal Raghute

ABSTRACT

The pharmaceutical industry has seen a transformation in theway drugs are discovered and developed thanks to the advent ofartificial intelligence (AI) as a potent tool. Artificialintelligence (AI) has become a revolutionary force in thepharmaceutical industry, transforming how drugs arediscovered and developed. The discovery and development ofnew drugs are being revolutionized by artificial intelligence(AI). It analyzes vast amounts of data, identifies potential newdrug targets, designs safe pharmaceuticals, and developsimproved clinical trial plans using technologies like machinelearning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Byanticipating how drugs will function and decreasingunsuccessful trials, AI contributes to speeding up, loweringcosts, and increasing precision in drug discovery. It alsofacilitates personalized medicine, in which treatments aretailored to each patient. Nevertheless, obstacles remain, including inadequate data quality, unclear regulatory frameworks, and the "black box"characteristics of artificial intelligence systems. Not with standing these challenges, AI hasenormous promise for the future to enhance drug development, lower research expenses, andmake healthcare more efficient and accessible.
