WHEN THE BUTTERFLY SHAPE GLAND STUMBLES

ABSTRACT There is a gland which is butterfly shaped known to be as athyroid gland. It is responsible for regulating the metabolism,growth and the development through the secreting thyroidhormones. There are some hormones which are primarilysecreted by (T4) and (T3) under the control of (TSH) frompituitary gland (TRH) from the hypothalamus. Thyroid includecommon disorder like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goiter,nodules, autoimmune disease and thyroid cancers. There istreatment like hormone replacement some drugs and therapies.This has some comprehensive overview of the thyroid and theirmaintaining systemic hormones.
