ABSTRACT Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries by enabling faster decision-making, improving patient care, and accelerating the drug discovery process. In pharmacy practice, AI assists in prescription analysis, personalized medicine, drug interaction detection, and patient counseling. In drug discovery, it reduces time and cost by predicting molecular interactions, optimizing lead compounds, and repurposing existing drugs. This review discusses the current applications of AI in pharmacy practice and drug discovery, highlights its benefits and limitations, and explores future perspectives for integrating AI into pharmaceutical sciences.
