Shafia Sultana*, Mohammed Rizwan, Ayesha Fathima, Bushra Nuzhaat Farooqi, Lubna Fatima
ABSTRACT Organic chemistry is the molecular foundation of contemporary forensic science. From drug detection to explosive residue identification, bloodstain analysis, and fingerprint development, organic compounds are the focal point of a number of forensic instruments. The chemical principles and reaction mechanisms of the most prevalent organic compounds utilized in forensics investigations, highlighting their role in crime solving by providing accurate chemical evidence. Its applications and principles are the focus of various forensic investigations, from the high- level examination of blood stains to the fine detection of illegal drugs, the subtle development of latent prints, and the clear determination of explosive residues. This review explores the underlying chemical principles and particular reaction mechanisms of widely utilized organic compounds in forensicanalysis. It highlights the role of these molecular interactions inhelping to solve crimes through precise, testable, and scientifically accurate chemical evidence. Through comprehension of the predictable organic molecule reactions, forensic scientists are able to convert molecule-level interactions into visible, interpretable evidence, helping in crime scene reconstruction. Keywords: forensic science, fingerprint development, investigation, molecular interaction, organic molecule. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
