ABSTRACT

Tinea capitis is infection of the hair and skin of the scalp and it is alsoknown as Ringworm or Herpes Tonsurans. The eyebrows as well aseyelashes get affected if the infection is not treated soon. In this type ofinfection. The fungi can invade the hair shaft; this invasion leads toweaken the hair structure and cause breakage and potential hair loss. Itcan also infect the outer part of hair follicle.
