FROM SUTRAS TO SYSTEMS: MODELING AYURVEDA THROUGH ALGORITHMS
Dr. Dharti Joshi*, Dr. Dilip Jani, Dr. Ketki Aurangabadkar
ABSTRACT Introduction: Algorithms are central to structured problem-solving and are now integral to modern healthcare. Ayurveda, with its systematic diagnostic and therapeutic approach, demonstrates an inherent algorithmic framework. Methods: A conceptual review was conducted using classical Ayurvedic texts and algorithmic theory from computer science to identify parallels in diagnostic flow and treatment logic. Results: Ayurvedic procedures such as Rogi Pariksha, Dosha analysis, and therapy planning reflect algorithmic steps: input, logical processing, and output. Modern algorithm types diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive align with Ayurvedic decision-making processes. Discussion: Algorithmic modelling of Ayurveda allows for standardization, digital integration, and personalized care, enhancing its clinical relevance in the modern era. Conclusion: Ayurveda’s intrinsic algorithmic logic can be connected to develop evidence-based, tech-integrated, and globally accessible healthcare models. Keywords: .
