ABSTRACT

Herbal cosmetics are formulations made from medicinal plants de-signed to enhance and protect the skin using multiple plant based ac-tive ingredients. The present study aims to formulate herbal lotion con-taining substance like Black Tea, Aloevera, Azadirachta indica (Neem), Rosella flower petals, Hibiscus and other synergistic botani-cals, using an Alcohol based extract. These medicinal plants are well known for their broad Spectrum therapeutic properties, including anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing activities. The combi-nation of these herbal constituents was intended to provide enhanced activity against microbial and parasitic skin infection and also in sup-porting skin health. The formulated lotion was evaluated for its or-ganoleptic characteristics, pH, Viscosity, Spreadability, and homoge-neity, showing stable properties without any phase separation through-out the study period. Stability assessments confirms that theformulation maintained its texture, aroma, and consistency under different storage conditions. Thus the result indicate that formulated herbal lotion has a promising potential as a natural alternative for skin care and protection.
