ROLE OF AYURVED IN HYPOTHYROIDISM MANAGEMENT
Dr. Srusti Upadhyay*
ABSTRACT One such condition brought on by insufficient thyroid hormone production is hypothyroidism. The thyroid gland controls growth and metabolism in the body. This is related to an Agni function in Ayurveda. This disease's clinical signs and symptoms are quite similar to those of Agnimandya. A 36-year-old woman reported experiencing hoarseness in her voice, fatigue, loss of appetite, and abrupt weight gain. Her condition was determined to be hypothyroidism with elevated thyroid-stimulating hormone levels following a comprehensive evaluation and studies. For five months, she received successful treatment using an Ayurvedic method. Keywords: Hypothyroidism, Ayurvedic treatment, Agnimandya, decreased BMR. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
