*Thenraja Sankar, Divya S., Meeran P. S. N., Tasneem Fathima M., Deephiha E., Julliyan Dilleban A.
ABSTRACT Cardiogenic shock is a life-threatening condition resulting from the heart's inability to pump sufficient blood to meet the body's metabolic demands. It is often a consequence of acute myocardial infarction (MI), severe valvular disease, arrhythmias, or advanced heart failure. This case highlights the complexity of managing cardiogenic shock in a patient with multiple comorbidities. A multidisciplinary approach involving prompt hemodynamic stabilization, infection control, optimal diabetic care, and cardiovascular risk management was essential in improving the patient’s prognosis. Keywords: Cardiogenic shock, dual antiplatelet therapy, vasopressors. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
