Abstract

ANALYTICAL STUDY OF PHALATRIKADI GHRITA: AN YUREVDIC FORMULATION

ABSTRACT

Phalatrikadi Ghrita is mentioned in Ayurvedic Classic in Chakradatta for the treatment of Timira Disease. It is a polyherbal ghee formulation is believed to improve vision and alleviate the symptoms of Timira. This formulation’s is synergistic blend of herbs and ghee is believed to nourish and rejuvenate the eyes, promoting visual health. Present study is carried out to maintain the 'quality control' of Phalatrikadi Ghrita by proper identification of raw materials at the basic level with the help of microscopic, morphological characteristics and Physio-chemical analysis.
