ABSTRACT This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal face cream designed to provide soothing, moisturizing, and protective benefits for skin affected by primary burns. Primary skin burns, especially first- and superficial second-degree burns, often require gentle care to promote healing without irritation. In this formulation, Aloe vera was selected as the primary active ingredient due to its well-documented anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, and hydrating properties. Natural ingredients such as almond oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, and cetyl alcohol were incorporated to enhance skin nourishment, create a protective barrier, and maintain cream stability. Functional additives like xanthan gum, sodium lauryl sulfate, and sodium benzoate were used to optimize texture, emulsification, and preservation. The cream was evaluated based on parameters such as pH, viscosity, spreadability, density, and appearance. Results demonstrated that the herbal face cream was stable, skin-compatible (pH 4.5–7), easy to spread, and aesthetically pleasing. This herbal formulation presents a safe, cost-effective, and natural alternative for the topical management of primary skin burns, suitable for routine use and potential commercial development.
