ADULTERATED BOILER CHICKEN AND ITS HEALTH HAZARDS: A REVIEW ARTICLE

ABSTRACT Boiler chicken, also known as broiler chicken, is a primary source of animal protein globally. Its large-scale commercial production has led to practices that may compromise food safety and public health. This review explores the forms of adulteration in boiler chicken, their implications on human health, and the regulatory concerns. Particular focus is placed on the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, hormones, preservatives, and poor hygiene in processing, with references to scientific literature and public health reports.
