Abstract

MANAGEMENT OF DADRU IN AYURVEDA - A CASE STUDY

Dr. Asha Kumawat and Dr. Raj Sikha Jorwal

ABSTRACT

Dadru is one of the Kapha–Pitta Pradhana Twak Vikara. It is a chronic disease in which Tridosha are involved so Rakta shodhak Chikitsa give better relief in Dadru. A 18-year-old male patient come in the OPD of National Institute of Ayurveda Hospital (NIA) Jaipur, Rajsthan, with acomplaint of round reddish single plaque over the thigh region in left side with severe Kandu (Itching). After 30 days of treatment, the patient got relief from all the symptoms by taking proper medicines like Panchatikta ghrita, Dadrughan lepa with chhach for local application before bath and Bruhat marichyadi tail for local application after bath and at night.
