Abstract

ANALYSIS FOR NUTRITIVE VALUE OF SEED PART OF ANNONA RETICULATA IN JABALPUR REGION

ABSTRACT

Proximate analysis of plants plays a crucial role in assessing their nutritional significance. Carbohydrate, fats, fiber and protein are the essential nutrients of life. The Quality and Quantity of proteins in the plant’s parts are basic factors and important for the selection of plants for nutritive value. Moisture content in seed was found to be 3.88+0.05, ash percent of 10.66+0.32, Seed has carbohydrate content found in very less quantity 9.44+0.44, Crude fiber is found in seed 31.77+0.29, Seed has protein quantity in 9.23+0.28, Highest fat content of 49.91+0.62 was found in seed.
