ABSTRACT

One well-considered health science is Ayurveda. "Life-knowledge" and "Ayurveda" are synonymous terms. First and foremost, the primary objectives of the health sciences are to improve patient safety and health quality. Ayurveda is renowned for its individualized treatment. In addition to diagnosing and treating, the traditional health science places a high value on individualized therapeutic methods that are safe, efficient, and timely. Pareeksha is a method by which a legitimate understanding of the object's state is investigated and cognized. "rogamadou pareekshet tathonantaram aoushadam" states that knowing everything there is to know about roga and rogibala is crucial before beginning any kind of treatment. Examining patients is done to learn about their life expectancy, level of morbidity, and severity. Acharya Charaka has described Aatura Pareeksha under thename Desha Pareeksha in the eighth chapter of Viman Sthana, "rog bhisagjeetiya adhyaya," in order to get the knowledge of life. To become proficient and superior in clinical techniques, one must have a thorough comprehension of science. The first step in clinical medicine is a comprehensive patient evaluation, which is followed by the development of appropriate treatments. A doctor will only achieve the intended result by chance and will not gain recognition if they begin treatment before accurately diagnosing the illness. The ancient health science gives its due importance for not just diagnosing and treating but effective, safe and quick personified treatment methods. Here is a sincere attempt made to understand the basis of that personalised approach by infering the relevance of Dashvidha Pareeksha in the light of recent advances.
