FORMULATION & EVALUATION OF INDIVIDUAL & MULTIPURPOSE HERBAL FACE PACKS

ABSTRACT

The present study is based upon the Anti-Acne Herbal Face pack. The herbal ingredients include i.e.., Neem powder, Multani Matti, Turmeric, Aloe vera, Sandal wood, orange peel, Nutmeg Myristica fragrans, Rose petals, Honey and Almond, were studied by based upon the literature review. Different varieties including Anti-Acne formulations were done and individual evaluation tests were performed for each variety of Herbal face pack. Anti acne activities are noted for 4 different varieties i.e Honey, Almond, Sandalwood, Neem. Hence, by performing various evaluation tests, we have concluded that the above Anti acne Herbal face packs are also having following therapeutic& prophylactic activities like anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-fungal, nourishing, smoothing effect& also improving skin texture. Further investigations on different activities have to be done.
