CLINICAL CASE STUDY ON THE EFFICACY OF APAMARGA KSHAR IN THE MANAGEMENT OF WARTS (CHARMAKEELA)
Dr. Gladina Jagtap* and Dr. Ritesh P. Sanklecha
ABSTRACT Warts (Charmakeela in Ayurveda) are benign skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Conventional treatments include cryotherapy, electrocautery, and salicylic acid, but these may cause scarring and recurrence. Apamarga Kshar (alkaline ash of Achyranthes aspera) is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation known for its caustic and antimicrobial properties, making it a potential remedy for warts. This case study evaluates the efficacy of Apamarga Kshar in wart management. Keywords: Ayurveda, Charmakeela, Apamarga Kshara, Warts. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
