UTILITY OF ACHARA RASAYANA IN PSYCHOSOMATIC DISORDERS- A LITERATURE REVIEW

ABSTRACT The body and mind are one identity, their interactions with each other inevitably affect the other. The psychosomatic illness a major health concern and the center of modern medical practices. Because of this, it is crucial to use a bidirectional strategy for accurate diagnosis and treatment of psychosomatic diseases. The severity of a physical illness can vary depending on your mental state at any given time. According to Acharya Charaka, the genesis of sickness can be attributed to three factors: Asatmendriyartha Samyoga, Pragnaparadha and Parinama or Kala. For treating psychosomatic disorders, ayurvedic treatments are gaining popularity. Achara Rasayana, which is mentioned in the classical text of Ayurveda, is a treatment that is intended to improve mental and physical well-being by changing behavior.
