FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL TABLET OF TULSI LEAF POWDER BY WET GRANULATION METHOD

ABSTRACT

Herbal tablets are solid unit dosage forms that contain crude herbal drugs as their active ingredients. There is growing interest in herbal medicines due to their versatility and the abundance of bioactive compounds found in medicinal plants, which are widely used in both traditional and modern healthcare. This article focuses on the formulation of a polyherbal tablet designed to treat cough, cold, and throat pain. It covers the evaluation of the tablets through pre-formulation and physical studies. The results indicate that both the formulation and evaluation processes were successful.
